It's Chestnut-Picking Time

Our tree is brimming with a bumper crop of glorious chestnuts, and we are planning another Chestnut Festival, Saturday, November 18. This will be a very special Festival this year, as we think it would be appropriate to honor the late Edna Lewis at this event, which she founded some 15 years ago. In addition, the American Chestnut Society has contacted us about being a part of the event this year. The festival, which will have a slightly different, less formal format this year, will be $55 per person, but Friday or Saturday night lodging will include the Chestnut Dinner at no additional cost. Further details will be forthcoming in about a week. So stay tuned. In the meantime, to learn more about chestnuts and our Festival, click here

Meet Us At The Races

We are once again sponsoring a tent at the popular Montpelier Hunt Races, Saturday, November 3.  This year, the tent will be on Madison Row, with a wonderful view of both jumps and the raceway. Tickets will include general admission tickets, a full bar, and gourmet lunch for $45 per person. VIP parking passes are also available at $25 each. Space is very limited, so reservations are necessary. Call Angela at 800-WG9-1778 for details and to reserve your space.
