wedding package that includes every necessary element.

need for you to make countless decisions about routine

Your
winter wedding at Willow Grove will include the

Exclusive
use of Willow Grove and its facilities for the
entire weekend. You and your guests may use
Willow Grove as though it were your own home. Come
as early as Thursday and stay until Sunday. Spend
time with your friends and family
in one of our gathering rooms or in front of the
stone fireplace in Clark's
Tavern, a cozy 18th century English pub with a warm
club-like atmosphere.

- Sleeping
accommodations for 30 guests. We can
accommodate up to 30 guests in our 18th- century manor house and
antebellum dependent buildings. All offer the
utmost in luxury, comfort, and privacy. All
showcase our 30-year collection of period
furnishings, And all are appointed with handmade
rugs, vintage prints, and antique watercolors.

- Breakfast
for all your guests each morning. Meet your
guests between 8 and 10 each morning for a full
breakfast of Southern specialties: farm fresh
eggs, applewood-smoked bacon, maple sausage,
malted Belgian waffles, fresh muffins, fruit,
juices, coffee and tea.

- Rehearsal
Dinner for up to 50 guests. Whether you choose
to have a formal dinner in the Dolley Madison
Dining Room or a more casual gathering in Clark's
Tavern, you will be served a menu of your choice
with unlimited bar and wine service. Each course
will consist of specialties that have been
carefully prepared by our chefs.

- Wedding
Ceremony in the Willow Grove Library. Picture
walking down our 18th-century staircase and into
the Jefferson Library festooned with fresh floral
arrangements. Soft music from a piano, flute
or strings will accompany you as you enter the
room. Here, surrounded by your closest family and
friends, you will meet your groom in front of a
blazing fireplace.

- Wedding
reception for 50 guests. Greet your guests
with a selection of hors d'oeuvres, and unlimited alcoholic
and non-alcoholic beverages in our foyer and the
tavern. Then head to the Dolley Madison Dining
room for dinner, a four-course affair with a menu
of your choice. Our tables will be set with
antique china, heirloom damask or tea-dyed lace,
silver place settings, and crystal stemware.

- Luscious
Wedding Cake. Our chefs will prepare a
many-tired confection iced with ivory buttercream
and festooned with a lush array of fresh
flowers. will take center stage on a table
layered with antique damask and English cutwork
linen. Sitting next to crystal champagne flutes on
a table layered with antique damask, the cake
epitomizes the elegant simplicity of the Old
South.

- Farewell
Brunch for 50. Bid farewell to your guests
with a leisurely brunch in the Dolley Madison
Dining Room. You'll feast on such things as shrimp
creole over cheese grits, spicy sausage gravy over
stone-ground corn muffins, grilled Virginia ham,
vegetable and cheese frittata, herbed home-fried
potatoes, a selection of muffins and juices, fresh
fruit, coffee and tea.

- Coordination of all aspects of
your affair. Angela Mulloy, Willow Grove's
owner, is a talented designer and coordinator with
a well-seasoned flair that will make your wedding
weekend at Willow Grove something out of the
ordinary. She will offer imaginative suggestions
and work closely with you to share your vision and
create a unique celebration that echoes your
personality.

price of $15,000 for the entire weekend is a
total, fixed, all-inclusive price. You will not be
faced with the prospect of hidden or additional
charges for beverage consumption, cleanup, breakage,
taxes, or gratuities. Everything is included in this
one price. You may, however, receive an allowance if
your event has fewer than 50 guests. |
